Having completed my first degree in mathematics, I studied fine art at the University of Central England passing with distinction. I then trained to become an art teacher at Goldsmiths College, UOL and taught secondary school Art for 3 years.

In 2005 I left the school to go travelling, during which time I spent eight months working as an artist on an island in Thailand. This included painting reproductions of famous paintings, portraits and a variety of commissions whilst running life drawing classes and private oil painting lessons.

Now back in the UK, I am lucky enough to be combining painting and teaching art.
